How to remove the temperature sensor in the Fiat Punto

Model: Fiat Punto MK 2, 188 - Years 1999-2011
Part: Thermostat

How to remove the thermostat from inside the engine compartment of a Fiat Punto? Let's see how it can be disassembled in a few steps. We lift the front hood of the car, remove the engine soundproofing panel. Unscrew the pins of the thermostat sleeve (remove the tube), remove the sealing cap and extract the coolant thermostat. We insert the new piece and close with the cap of the sleeve. We tighten the pins well and we're done. Make sure that you have correctly inserted and mounted the valve in the appropriate housing. We mount the cover panel above the engine. Let's test the functioning of the Punto.

Replace the damaged bulbs with new ones (same size and voltage). Refit the interior light into its housing (push the clear plastic with your hands until the clips are fully engaged in the side plastic). Test the correct operation of the bulbs in the interior light after installation.
