Oil and Oil Filter Replacement on Fiat Ducato

Start the engine for several minutes to warm up the circulating oil, making it less viscous for easier draining. Do not overdo it, or the parts you will be working on will become too hot. Work under the engine bay, as shown in the video. First, loosen the oil filter using the appropriate adjustable filter wrench; if you don’t have one, you can improvise with other tools, such as a large pair of pliers. Prepare a container to collect the oil and loosen the drain bolt. Measure the amount of drained oil, screw on the new filter, and refill the same amount through the oil filler in the bonnet.
