Removing the Front Headlight for Replacement

Model: Fiat Punto MK 2, 188 - Years 1999-2011

Open the bonnet and use a screwdriver to lever in the upper hole of the front mask to unclip it, then remove the other clips. Unscrew the seven screws with a Torx key from the lower mask. Force the plastic clips and remove the air intake grilles. In the air intake hole, unscrew the securing screw and the four side screws inside the two wheel arches. At this point, the bumper is free, so gently pull it away from the front of the vehicle, disconnecting the two side cables. Now the headlight assembly is ready for replacement. Unscrew the lower and upper securing screws and remove it by disconnecting the electrical connector. Place the bulbs in the holder and reconnect the connector to install the new headlights. Test by switching on the headlights to check proper operation. Refit the bumper and mask.
