How to Remove the Steering Wheel from a Fiat 500

Before starting, sit in the driver's seat of your Fiat 500. Begin by unscrewing and removing the screws that secure the airbag to the steering wheel, then extract it and disconnect the corresponding electrical connector. Next, unscrew and remove the central nut that secures the steering wheel to the steering column. This will free the steering wheel. At this point, disengage and pull the steering wheel off the steering column. Once you have removed the steering wheel from your Fiat 500, you will have successfully completed the disassembly, and you will be free to fit the new steering wheel.
