A spherical head is integrated into the hub support plate which over time tends to wear out and play: it is possible to buy the new support plate complete with head in the after market but to be able to replace it it is necessary to remove the complete bracket and hub from on board the car. Once the bracket complete with hub has been placed on the bench, unscrew the four fixing pins of the bracket to the hub and, proceeding backwards, install the new bracket complete with head. It is suggested to carry out the same maintenance also on the other wheel in order to give the front end a symmetrical stiffness.

How do you replace the battery of the BMW R 1250 GS?

In order to replace the battery of the BMW R 1250 GS it is necessary to loosen the bolts that secure the casing positioned on the left side of the bike, so that its cover can be removed. Once this has been removed, you will be able to access the components below, including the battery. The latter must be removed from its housing by disconnecting the power cables and unscrewing the appropriate fixing bolts. In this way it will be possible to insert a new battery, properly fixing it and connecting it to the relative cables, covering everything with the casing.
