Fiat Panda - Video tutorial
Model: Fiat Panda
141, MK 1
- Years 1980-2003 To disassemble the drive shaft it is first necessary to evaluate how to unscrew the fixing nut from the hub side: rather than adopting the solution shown in the video, i.e. locking the brake disc with an approximate vice, it is suggested to loosen this nut even before lift the car; once the nut has been loosened, lift the car, remove the wheel, the brake caliper complete with its support and then the disc; complete the disassembly of the central nut, unscrew the fixing pins of the hub support to the shock absorber and disconnect the head of the swinging arm of the suspension with the special fork extractor; once the drive shaft has been released from the hub side, unscrew the fixing pins of the flange on the motor side and remove it from its seat.
