How to Change the Brake Lights on the 500L

First, ensure the engine is off and the handbrake is engaged. Open the boot lid; using a lever, remove the plastic trim around the rear light. Use an Allen key to unscrew the screws; once the screws are removed, use the lever to detach and remove the rear light from its housing. At this point, you will notice a power cable; disconnect the power cable. Take the new light that you will use to replace the old one. Reassemble all components in reverse order. Once everything is reassembled, start the vehicle and test the functionality of the rear light.
