How to Replace the Airbag Control Unit in a Fiat Grande Punto?
Model: Fiat Punto
MK 3, Punto EVO, 199, Grandepunto

To access the airbag control unit in the Fiat Grande Punto, unscrew the gear knob and pull off the leather gaiter underneath. Then, disconnect the retaining clips of the cover around the handbrake and loosen the screws located beneath it in the centre tunnel. Next, perform the same operation for the side covers of the footwell so that the entire centre tunnel can be removed. The airbag control unit will be located directly in front of the gearbox and can be replaced after disconnecting the connectors and loosening the securing screws.
