To replace the Fiat 600 tappet gasket, you need to open the hood to gain access to the engine compartment and loosen the screws that secure the air filter box, removing it completely. At this point it will be possible to loosen the bolts securing the engine top cover and remove it completely. This will show the gasket, which will need to be removed and replaced with a new spare part. Once the new gasket has been installed, the engine top cover and air cleaner housing can be reinstalled.
