Now we are going to change the light bulbs of the positions, of the reverse gear and of the license plate, which are halogen and we will install the LED ones with the cambus resistance inside, so that the car control unit does not give the error of the bulbs ( xenovision site). Let's start with the reverse light bulb, unscrew the 2 screws on the inside that hold the right rear light, remove the light, disconnect the connector and extract the panel with the light bulbs; remove the bulb by pressing lightly and turning it counterclockwise, take the new led bulb, remove it from the package and insert it in place of the previous one, pushing it and turning it clockwise, re-attach the light panel to the headlight, reattach the connector and we screw the screws of the headlight. We proceed with those of the plate, which arrive with the complete ceiling lights of the bulb, we take a small screwdriver, we press on one side of the ceiling light by removing it, we also remove the bulb, we take the new ceiling light, remove it from the package and install it where it was the previous one from the right side first and then to the left side. Do the same procedure for the other license plate light (also removing the plastic covering the glass from the ceiling light). To change the position lights you have to operate from behind where the wheel is, turn the wheels completely inwards, go behind the bumper and remove the plastic cover behind the headlight with pliers, turn the bulb anticlockwise , remove the old bulb. Now we can take the new bulb, remove it from the package, remove the wheel, remove the internal splash guard, put the bulbs on, also connecting the resistors, attaching them to the body, put the plastic cover back on the headlight, screw the splash guard and the wheel back on. Now we can try the new bulbs.

Handbrake adjustment on Ford Ecosport

First remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes. Also in this case it is not necessary to remove it completely but, paying attention to the connected cables, it can be stowed in front of the passenger seat. At this point we notice that at the base of the handbrake lever, on the front, we find a nut. By acting on it, with a 10 wrench, we can adjust the brake force, increasing it by turning the nut clockwise, or decreasing it by turning it counterclockwise. Once adjusted, the center console can be repositioned first, pressing lightly to engage it, and then the profile of the gearbox base.
