To clear the oil change service light on a Fiat 500, follow these steps: open the door and access the driver's seat, insert the ignition key and turn it to the 'on' position (do not start the engine). Press the accelerator pedal fully down three times within 10 seconds, then turn the key to switch off the ignition. To verify that the message has been cleared, turn the ignition key again and check that the message has indeed disappeared.
