How to Remove the Airbag from the Steering Wheel of the Fiat 500

This guide illustrates the procedure for removing the airbag from the steering wheel of the Fiat 500 (and possibly replacing it). Follow these steps: 1. First, remove the steering wheel from its position; 2. Turn the steering wheel 180° and remove the 3 screws located in the pentagonal recesses at 9 o'clock, 3 o'clock, and 6 o'clock (using a classic clock as a reference); 3. Remove the protective cover of the airbag; 4. Gently lever the pin and remove the internal components of the airbag; 5. Refit everything by reversing the steps described earlier.

Note that this procedure is valid not only for removal but also for the potential replacement of the airbag itself.
