How to remove the steering wheel airbag on a Fiat 500X? In this video, you will see how to proceed. Before removing the steering wheel, disconnect the battery terminals located in the engine bay. Insert a screwdriver into the slots on the steering wheel and release the clips that secure the airbag. Once the driver's airbag is released, disconnect the power connectors and remove it from the steering wheel. For reassembling the airbag: connect the power connector, then press the airbag onto the steering wheel until the clips snap into place.
