As seen in this tutorial, replacing the stop light switch on a Fiat 500 is an extremely simple and quick task. Often, the failure of this component is the main cause of various system malfunctions, such as the ESP and Hill Holder. To remove the switch, first ensure that the key is not in the ignition, then go under the dashboard on the driver's side and locate it: it is situated above the brake pedal. Once located, simply grasp it, pull it upwards, and simultaneously turn it counterclockwise. After disconnecting the connector, you can install the replacement by following the reverse procedure.

How to Bleed the Clutch on a Renault Clio?
