To replace the front brake pads on a Fiat Tipo, lift the car using a jack or ramp so that the corresponding wheel is off the ground. Next, loosen the bolts securing the wheel to the hub, completely removing it to access the components at the rear.

Once the wheel is off, unscrew the bolts holding the brake caliper to its disc, fully removing it and sliding out the pads inside. You can then insert the new pads, refitting the caliper and the wheel.
