As shown in this tutorial, replacing the battery in a Fiat Punto is a very simple and quick operation. Before proceeding, ensure that the key is not inserted for safety.

Start by opening the bonnet, then undo the two bolts of the upper mounting bracket using a 10 mm socket spanner. Next, loosen the negative terminal nut, disconnect it, and repeat the process for the positive terminal.

At this point, grasp the battery by the handle, pull it out of the housing, and fit the replacement by following the reverse procedure.
