Removing the steering wheel in cars without airbags, such as this Fiat Punto, is extremely simple as it is sufficient to remove the cap present at the centre of the steering wheel using a screwdriver, disconnect the horn wires, and then access the nut securing the steering wheel to the steering column shaft; before unscrewing the nut, it is advisable to engage the steering lock to secure the shaft and then proceed to unscrew the securing nut; at this point, you can pull the steering wheel off the shaft by pulling it backwards, possibly rocking it a bit to free it from the splines.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?
