If the engine oil light has come on, the first thing to do is change the engine oil and filters. Next, get into your vehicle and sit in the driver's seat.

Insert the key and turn it to switch on the instrument panel; there's no need to start the engine. Fully press the accelerator pedal and simultaneously press the brake pedal seven times; on the seventh time, release only the brake pedal and keep the accelerator pressed for one minute, then release the pedal and turn off the ignition.

Wait another minute before turning the ignition back on.

How to Reset the Tire Pressure Light on a MG ZS?
