In today's video, see how to proceed with the removal and refurbishment of the starter motor from a classic Fiat 500. This tutorial also applies to the later Fiat 126, which also has a rear engine. First, remember to work only when the engine is cold to avoid potential issues.

At this point, open the rear engine cover, then locate the unit in question. Proceed to extract it and take it to your workbench.

Then, remove the alternator and proceed to refurbish the component, followed by testing it.
