To reset the oil warning light on a Fiat Tipo, turn the key in the ignition switch to power on the instrument cluster. Once the instrument cluster is on, press the accelerator pedal and then press the brake pedal seven times.

After the last time you press the brake pedal, hold it down for about one minute. At this point, release both pedals and turn off the instrument cluster.

When you turn it back on, which should be done after waiting at least another minute, you will notice that the oil warning light has been reset.
