Proceed to disconnect the battery terminals and then disconnect the power terminal of the starter motor. Then, using a socket wrench, unscrew the bolts that secure the starter motor to the engine. Remove the starter motor from its housing and replace it with the new one, then proceed to reassemble all the components in reverse order.
