How to Replace the Timing Belt on a Fiat 500?

To replace the timing belt on the Fiat 500, open the bonnet to access the engine bay. Remove the plastic covers located on the left side of the engine to access the pulleys and the timing belt. After removing some obstructive parts such as pipes and connectors, loosen the nut that secures the central pin of the tensioner roller, reducing the tension on the belt. This will allow you to slide the belt off the pulleys and replace it with a new one. After installation, refit all previously removed parts.
