Today, you will learn how to replace the timing belt on the 2013 Fiat 500 Abarth after covering 34,000 miles. To perform the replacement, lift the vehicle and remove the front right wheel and the splash guard. Support the engine with a jack and remove the timing belt by taking off the timing covers. Position the engine at the top dead centre of cylinder No. 1, and lock the shafts with the appropriate timing tools. Loosen the tensioner and remove the worn belts. Install the new belt and adjust the tension. Manually rotate the engine to check that the timing is correct and reassemble the previously removed components; start the engine to ensure there are no unusual noises or issues.
