To replace the timing belt on a Fiat 500 Abarth, open the bonnet to access the engine compartment. You will need to remove the upper engine cover, the air duct, and the coolant reservoir to access the side cover of the engine. By loosening the screws that secure it, you will gain access to the pulleys and the belt. By loosening the tensioner and the central pins of the other pulleys, the timing belt can be extracted and replaced. After replacement, remount all previously removed parts.
