Operation: How to disassemble the Fiat Punto Evo light switch

The breakage of the light switch and in particular of the flat cable present inside it is a very recurring defect on this model of car with the consequent switching on of the airbag warning light and the failure of the steering wheel controls; replacing this part is fairly simple to perform and it is highly recommended that you replace the part rather than attempting the repair; having said this, start by disconnecting the battery and then release the airbag by pressing the relative fixing springs through the holes behind the spokes of the steering wheel; continue disassembling the light switch cover casings and the steering wheel fixing pin in order to free the light switch; at this point disconnect the sockets and loosen the pin of the collar clamp that fixes the light switch to the steering column and remove it from its seat.

Disassembly of the gear knob on the Lancia Ypsilon 2

Today we will see, in this video tutorial, how to remove and replace the gear knob on the second series Lancia Ypsilon, but also on the Lancia Musa, in simple and quick steps. We get inside the car and start by removing the old gear knob; to do this, just unscrew it anticlockwise, as shown in the video.
