How to Replace the Front Shock Absorbers on a Fiat Ducato

It is essential to have the appropriate clamp tool to compress the spring and separate it from the shock absorber for the replacement. Start by lifting the vehicle to remove the front wheel and lubricate the four bolts securing the shock absorber plate to the hub support with penetrating spray. Once these bolts are unscrewed, access the cabin or the engine compartment to reach the dome located just under the dashboard, which will need to be removed. After unscrewing the mounting bolts of the support and extracting the complete shock absorber from its housing, compress the spring with the clamps and remove the support from the shaft, then fit the bellows, spring, and support onto the new shock absorber, proceeding in reverse for installation on the vehicle.
