In this video, we can see how the 0.9-litre 2-cylinder Twinair engine exhibits a system problem: the twin-cylinder structure generates extremely high exhaust gas pulsations, which excite the turbine in a non-linear manner, causing a phenomenon known as "surge", with very high peaks over a long period. This system causes significant wear in the turbo regulation system (also known as the "wastegate"), and despite the materials used for these components being reinforced, they reach wear in a relatively short time. The only remedy is to carry out a preventive repair using high-quality materials and replacing the timing belt.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
