In this video, we can learn from the experience of a YouTuber who mistakenly added too much oil to his Fiat Ducato, risking significant damage to the engine: in fact, driving with too much oil is more harmful to the engine than driving with too little oil; this is even more true for modern vehicles like the Ducato X290 shown in the video. The problem with this model is that there is no longer a dipstick for measuring oil, and the computer, which should provide the indications, informed the user that there was too much oil in the engine only after two days of driving! There was almost one and a half litres of oil too much in the engine! So be careful when changing the oil: stick to the quantities indicated in the user and maintenance manual, and perhaps add half a litre less, as it is much better to add it later than to have to drain the sump and dispose of everything.
