The radiator fan on the Fiat Ducato activates whenever the engine temperature becomes too high, and the fan must operate to lower it. The fan's operation is controlled by a relay located inside the engine bay, right above the fan. If the fan's operation is compromised, it may be due to damage to this relay.

Additionally, check that all power cables to the fan are intact; these can be found not only in the engine bay but also behind the panel located under the steering column.
