Fiat 500 - Video tutorial
Model: Fiat 500
Epoca
- Years 1957-1975 It is important that the fuel reaches the pump and carburetor of vintage cars like the Fiat 500 as clean as possible to avoid clogging problems. To install a specific filter, we open the front hood and locate the tube that carries the gasoline from the tank to the rear engine. This tube passes through the tank and makes a downward curve: in this section, we cut the tube and reduce it by 1/2 cm, insert a metal clamp into the two pieces, and insert the filter. We must pay attention to the correct installation direction by inserting the hose connector with the "in" label on the side that comes out of the tank and the hose connector with the "out" label on the tube that goes towards the engine. We tighten the two clamps and check the correct flow by starting the engine.
