How to Dismantle the Steering Wheel of the Fiat Ducato

To remove the steering wheel on this vehicle model, you must first detach the airbag. It is recommended to start by disconnecting one terminal of the battery to prevent any warning lights from activating. Next, locate the holes behind the spokes of the steering wheel where you will insert a flat screwdriver to lever off the airbag's retaining spring. A slightly curved screwdriver is advised. Once the airbag is released, disconnect the relevant plugs, first removing the safety catches, and then disconnect the horn contact. Align the steering wheel in the straight position, remove the protective cap over the securing nut, unscrew the nut, and extract the steering wheel.
