The reason why the Fiat 500's speedometer is flashing

In this video we can see what could be the reason why the speedometer with the mileage of the Fiat 500 starts flashing. The first and most important reason is the loss of communication between the ECU and the module called "Blue&me". The main ECU requires that all communication modules be aligned according to the CanBus communication network, but when one of these modules malfunctions, the vehicle data can no longer be verified, causing the mileage data on the dashboard to flash. The main suspect in these cases is the "Blue&me" module, whose components are of poor quality, and also due to its location in the vehicle it is subject to water infiltration, leading to malfunctions such as the use of bluetooth - which is its main function - that can be verified through diagnostic tools. The errors related to Bluetooth on this module are U1773 and U1733. Before proceeding with the replacement or restoration of the module, it is possible to perform some interventions, such as removing the negative contact for 10 minutes, allowing the ECU to restore all previous parameters (but we must keep the radio code handy). Another thing to do is to check the wiring to and from the unit, and also the fuses which are F51 and F36. If these checks are okay, then we find the Blue&me module located in the left rear door panel, and disconnect it to check for corrosion or damage, and test each pin to ensure it carries current. If we find incorrect readings with the multimeter, we will need to check the wiring; but if everything is fine, then the problem is with the module itself that will need to be repaired.
