How to change the key fob battery of a Ford Focus? Follow this detailed guide. Take your key fob and insert a screwdriver between the two ends of the key cover, lever it until the cover opens. Remove the worn battery from the plastic body with a screwdriver, take a new one of the same size and voltage. Refit the cover onto your key fob by pressing until you hear the locking click. Check the proper functioning of the key fob by testing the central locking.
