In this article, you will learn how to replace the battery on a Ford Focus MK2. For this operation, you will need a 10mm spanner and a flathead screwdriver. First, remove the air filter box. To do this, unscrew the securing screw using the flathead screwdriver.

After removing the screw, take off the side cover to access the clip and remove the air filter box. Once the air filter box is removed, unscrew the battery terminal bolts using the 10mm spanner. After removing the bolts, you can take off the terminal blocks.

Next, remove the plastic containment box by moving the cables to the sides and then lifting the box upwards. At this point, unlock the battery clamp, and you will be able to extract the battery for replacement.
