How do you replace the battery of the Ford Transit?

In order to replace the battery of the Ford Transit, you need to push forward the front passenger seat so that you can locate the panel underneath it. Once this panel is visible, you can loosen the screws that hold it in place so that the underlying battery becomes accessible: this can now be removed from its seat by unscrewing the bolts that hold it and disconnecting the power cables. Once the old battery is removed, you can insert the new one, securing and connecting it properly.
