Need to replace the gas struts on your car? How to remove and reinstall them? In this video, we will see how to replace the struts on a Ford C-Max boot. Lift the boot and secure it. Using a flathead screwdriver, detach the metal clips that hold the worn strut at both ends.

Install the new part on the vehicle and secure the strut with the metal clips. Proceed in the same manner for the removal/reinstallation of the twin strut.

Finally, reattach the two rear lights and test the gas struts installed earlier.
