How do you reset the Service light on the Ford Ka?

Model: Ford Ka MK 2 - Years 2008-2016

The Service light that appears on the instrument panel of the Ford Ka can be reset by inserting the key to turn on the instrument panel and holding down the accelerator and brake pedals simultaneously. Then, the two pedals must be held down for about 15 seconds until the Service light starts flashing. Once it stops flashing, the pedals can be released and the instrument panel turned off. It should remain off for about 2 minutes for the reset operation to be completed. After 2 minutes, the instrument panel can be turned on again, checking that the light is off.
