The Ford Explorer model produced from 2017 to 2025 features an easy-to-use remote control. In case the remote control stops working, the cause is usually a low battery, and replacing it is a quick operation.

To replace the battery, we need to press the button on the top of the remote control to remove the internal key. Insert a flathead screwdriver or the key itself into the small hole to remove the cover of the remote control and replace the battery. The battery we will use for the replacement is a CR2450. After inserting the battery, close the cover of the remote control and insert the top part back into it.
