In this video, we see how to open the front hood of the Ford Transit: it may seem like a simple operation, but on this vehicle the procedure is a bit different compared to other vehicles, even of the same brand. In fact, it does not open using the lever found in the driver's footwell, but we must go directly to the front of the vehicle, where we need to move the Ford emblem on the front, turning it 45°: behind it we find a lock, which opens with the key of the vehicle's ignition. After that, we can lift the hood normally like on all cars and latch the support rod.

How to Open the Bonnet on the Lancia Y

To open the bonnet on this vehicle, follow these simple instructions: first, open the driver's door and locate the lever positioned just below the dashboard, marked with an image of the vehicle with the bonnet open. Pull this lever towards you until you hear a "click" indicating the bonnet is released. Next, exit the cabin and stand in front of the bonnet to disengage the safety catch and complete the opening.
