In this new guide, we will explain how you can disassemble the gear knob in the interior of your second series Ford Focus on your own. First of all, get into the car and proceed to remove the cover located under the leather trim of the knob, then grab it and rotate it counterclockwise until it is completely disassembled.

At this point, the procedure is successfully completed and you can eventually install a new gear knob by following the reverse order of the steps described earlier, as long as the new knob is perfectly compatible.
