How to replace the battery of the Ford Ranger remote control

In today's article, we will see how to replace the battery of the key/remote control of the Ford Ranger. To perform this operation, a small flathead screwdriver will be necessary. First, remove the emergency key using the appropriate button and pulling the key outward. Once the emergency key is removed, use it to lever in the designated hole, located under the part of the key with the Ford logo, press and lift it upwards to remove it. Once the cover is removed, you will have access to the battery. Insert the flathead screwdriver into the designated hole and lever to remove the battery. Once the old battery is removed, insert the new battery, then close the key by reinserting the cover and pressing with your hands to reinsert the fixing clips. After that, reinsert the emergency key into its housing and the procedure will be complete.
