How to deactivate the seat belt alarm on a Ford vehicle

Let's see how it is possible to deactivate the seatbelt chime on this Ford Mustang: the system is identical on most Ford vehicles. We turn on the instrument panel without starting the engine, and the seatbelt icon will light up. We have to wait about 60 seconds before it starts flashing. At this point, we buckle and unbuckle the seatbelt - as quickly as possible - three times. Now the icon is lit up again and we can buckle the seatbelt again. Unbuckle it and now it should be turned off. This system is valid for both the driver's and passenger's seatbelt.
