The service light reset on a Ford vehicle must be performed after completing all the operations included in the car service. On Ford Focus vehicles, resetting the oil light is a very simple operation and does not require the use of any external equipment to connect to the OBD port. To reset the light, we must turn on the instrument panel while pressing the brake and accelerator pedals. We keep the pedals pressed until the display on the instrument panel shows the message "oil light reset successfully completed." We then release the pedals and wait before restarting the instrument panel to see the new kilometers until the next service.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
