The service light reset on a Ford vehicle must be performed after completing all the operations included in the car service. On Ford Focus vehicles, resetting the oil light is a very simple operation and does not require the use of any external equipment to connect to the OBD port.

To reset the light, we must turn on the instrument panel while pressing the brake and accelerator pedals. We keep the pedals pressed until the display on the instrument panel shows the message "oil light reset successfully completed." We then release the pedals and wait before restarting the instrument panel to see the new kilometers until the next service.
