How do you reset the BMS of a Ford Mondeo MK5?

In this video, we see how to reset the BMS (Battery Monitoring System) of a Ford Mondeo MK5: you need an OBD scanner and an app like FORScan or Carly. Connect the scanner to the OBD port (located under the dashboard, on the driver's side), turn on the ignition, open the app and connect it to the scanner. Follow the instructions in the video for the reset. However, you can also try a manual procedure. Everything must be turned off: turn on only the low beams, which must remain on throughout the procedure. Press the brake pedal all the way down five times, then press the hazard button three times. After the third press, the battery light should start flashing, indicating that the reset has been successful. Turn off the low beams. The procedure is complete.
