To replace the battery of the Ford Galaxy car remote control, we need to purchase a CR 2032 model battery. We use a flat-head screwdriver for the entire replacement process. We insert the flat-head screwdriver at the top right corner of the remote control cover to remove it by popping it off. To remove the battery from its compartment, we use the flat-head screwdriver and apply a slight outward pressure to remove the battery. We push the new battery into the remote control and close the cover by pressing on it. We test the remote control's functionality by standing in front of the vehicle and pressing the open and close buttons.
