How do you reset the Service light on a Ford Mondeo?

It is possible to completely reset the Service light on the Ford Mondeo dashboard by inserting the ignition key into the ignition switch: by inserting the key into the switch and turning it to power on the dashboard, you can then simultaneously press and hold the brake and accelerator pedals for a few moments. After this time has passed, you can release both pedals and turn off the dashboard: once it is powered on again, you will notice that the maintenance interval and the Service light have been reset.
