How to Replace the Key Shell on a Ford Mondeo

This guide shows how to disassemble and replace the key shell of a Ford Mondeo. First, take your key fob and start prying off the plastic back cover; lever the sides with a thin tool to open the fob into two parts, removing the circuit board and battery as shown in the video. At this point, also remove the physical key, transferring all components to the new key shell; install the elements in order and finally check the correct functioning of the key fob.
