Replacing the key battery of a 2010 Ford Mondeo requires a flathead screwdriver or another similarly small and flat object. Start by removing the plastic cover located at the front of the remote, under which the emergency key is positioned. Once both the cover and the key are removed, use the screwdriver to pry along the edges of the remote to separate it without breaking it. You will then have access to the battery, which can be extracted and replaced with a new one.
