Want to replace the manual gear knob on your Ford C Max? Here’s how to proceed: use a plastic lever to detach the leather gaiter frame; lift it up and disconnect the knob from the gear lever (remove the plastic that secures the knob to the lever). For reassembly: fit the new leather gaiter with the clips, then take the new knob and slide it onto the lever in the centre console. Tighten the new knob until it is fully secured. Finally, test the correct installation of the knob by moving the lever on the centre console.
