Let's see how to replace the battery in the remote control of a Ford Kuga, Galaxy, or Mondeo. Although the replacement method is the same for all, the type of battery may not be the same: in fact, for most of these vehicles, it is a CR2032 button battery, while in some Mondeo models produced between 2015 and 2019, it may be a CR2025. Hold the remote with the Ford logo facing you, insert a small flat screwdriver into the side slot, and gently pry it open, separating the two halves of the shell. You will see the circuit and the battery, held in place by a metal tab; gently lift it and remove the battery. Replace it with the new one, paying attention to the polarity. Close the casing and test its functionality.
